As of 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 20th, Pre-Registration has ended for the 2008 Job Fair.
If you want to attend the Job Fair as a participant, you will need to come to the registration table at the job fair Thursday morning. If you have already filled out an online form or faxed in your pre-registration, we have your registration ready at a "pre-registered" table at the Job Fair.
If you want to present your company as an Employer at the Job Fair, you need to contact Angela Glissen or Greg Giachelli at our office at 662.842.4521.
You are invited to participate in the CDF Regional Job Fair scheduled for Thursday, May 22, 2008, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Tupelo Furniture Market, Mississippi Complex, Hall B.
This will be an excellent opportunity for your company/business to come in contact with prospective employees in all job classifications, with special emphasis on entry-level positions. A very extensive multi-media and promotional campaign will be launched to reach interested job applicants to include recent graduates of area high schools, community colleges, universities, and other job seekers within the tri-state area.
With the assistance of the Governor’s Job Fair Task Force and the Mississippi Employment Security Commission, we will also be able to reach those interested military personnel looking for jobs in Northeast Mississippi. In the past, the fair has drawn over 2,000 prospective employees.
The participation fee is as follows: CDF Members - $150.00
Non-CDF Members - $250.00
